We found a sketch done by our founder, Albert Wagstaff, of a traditional watch, which he referred to as a 'field' watch - meaning a design for field and countryside events - with a hint of pilot design added. We developed that design into The Gloucestershire. The model is limited to 200 watches, all of which are individually numbered so if you have favourite number you might be in luck!
The Gloucestershire has inset 24-hour time markers and luminous hands. Made with a traditional hand-stitched leather strap with a doubled bond stitch at the lug and a large strap. This watch wears smaller than the design specification suggests and makes a great everyday watch for most people.
